DVR Examiner answers this common problem;
"How to extract CCTV video from a DVR Hard Drive?"

When working with video stored in a proprietary format on the hard drive of a CCTV DVR it can be very time consuming to extract or carve the data into a playable format.

The following change log provides the names of the CCTV DVR brands and systems that are currently supported by the DVR Examiner software. This is not a definitive list of DVRs as some brands/models use the same system as others so they may not be listed but will still work. The best way to find out is to get a trial of the software which you can request here
